How do I know which therapist to book?

Do I need a GP referral?

No, you do not require a GP referral, however if you would like to lodge a Medicare claim you will need a current Mental Health Care Plan (issued by your GP) before your appointment.

 

Couple Therapy and Psychotherapy are not eligible for Medicare rebates.

Can I claim on Medicare? 

We are able to lodge your Medicare claim for a partial rebate if you have a current Mental Health Care Plan (issued by your GP).

Can I claim on private health insurance?

It may be possible to make a claim if you have a private health fund, however it will depend on your plan and cover.

 

Therapists at this clinic meet the requirement for claims ie as PACFA members or as registered psychologists.

Are rebates available for Couple Therapy?

Unfortunately at this time Medicare does not cover couple therapy.  Your private insurance may cover couple therapy, contact your provider and quote Item number 300.

Are concessions available for DVA Card Holders? 

Yes, Gold and Silver DVA Card Holders are accepted.

Do you offer NDIS counselling?   

Yes, we have two NDIS registered psychologists, Jane Wilson and Julie McLachlan.

Do you provide for WorkCover?

If you have a WorkCover claim, our WorkCover registered psychologists may be able to assist in your recovery.

What is the cost?

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel your appointment, please make contact no later than 24 hours prior to your appointment. For late cancellations (ie less that 24 hours) or no-show normal fees apply.
